the voices...stop the voices
I was given the privilege of the pulpit at my home church this morning. My pastor had asked me to preach my senior sermon. So I changed the end and tweaked some of the wording that I had gone over with Kristin Saldine. Then this morning when I climbed into the pulpit, the voices in my head kicked in. Comments made by Jennifer and Kristin about my preaching which invaded while I was preaching. Crazy!

Were the voices unhelpful? I loved that sermon. Did you ever send it to Scott and Claudia?
The voices were helpful. It was Jennifer and Kristin, little things about when I needed to pause, standing up straight. It was just kinda funny in the midst of preaching to have that going on in the background. My home church loved the sermon too. I just found Scott and Claudia's email, so I will be sending it this week. :)
Oh I'm so glad you will be sending it! I think it will mean so much to them to know that they were remembered twice. It will be encouraging. How cool to preach in your home pulpit too. I'm going to do that in November.
